This will show basic required
configuration to run work flow in Microsoft Dynamics AX, Then after you can create workflow for your
required application
System
administration->Setup -> System service accounts
In workflow execution
account, enter alias “administrator” and domain
name
Select “admin” in below dropdown
System
administration->Setup ->Workflow-> Workflow parameter
Select
appropriate email account to send email notification
System
administration->Setup ->Workflow-> Workflow infrastructure
configuration wizard
Select
proper batch group; if not available create new batch group and assign server
on which it runs from path : System administration->Setup ->Batch group
Enter
hour in “1” and click next
Go to
: Organization administration-> Common ->Calendars -> Calendars
Enter
calendar name and select base calendar if required
Click
on “Working time” on top panel
Click
on “Compose working time”
Enter
From Date and to date, for which working time required to create,
“Working
Time Template” is required to enable workflow, create it from Organization
administration-> Common ->Calendars -> Working Time Template
Now next step is to configure workflow for any process (Purchase order, Invoice Journal)
For example: Vendor Invoice Journal workflow
